Sacred Voice and Global Peace: Spiritual Feminist Literature as Activism and Healing
Repository abstract
This paper introduces the concept of the sacred voice as a transformative force for global peace. Where women’s voices have historically been silenced, Spiritual Feminist Literature emerges as both a healing practice and a form of activism. Writing becomes a vessel for truth-telling, a ceremony of remembrance, and a pathway to justice.
By situating this genre within Peace Studies, the work highlights its role in advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG #5: Gender Equality, SDG #16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions). It argues that literature is not only an artistic expression but also a sacred instrument of social change, cultural preservation, and collective healing.
Spiritual Feminist Literature integrates memory, testimony, and feminist awakening into a literary movement that redefines silence as resistance, voice as ceremony, and storytelling as peacebuilding.
