About Spiritual Feminist Literature
A literary framework concerned with what a woman can recognise, choose and become.
M. Dangi founded Spiritual Feminist Literature to give sustained attention to the inner lives of women. Her founding publication brings questions of memory, voice and spiritual experience into the same literary discussion.
The later research develops a method of close reading. It asks how a gendered condition is experienced inwardly, how recognition shapes action, and what the consequences of a choice reveal about a character’s possibilities.
This magazine brings the original publications into conversation with editorial essays. Each research record carries its own source, date and attribution so that readers can follow an idea back to the text in which it appears.
