Dostoevsky and Moral Consciousness: A Divine Philosophical Literary Reading of Guilt, Responsibility, and Human Becoming
Repository abstract
This paper applies Divine Philosophical Literary Analysis (DPLA) to Fyodor Dostoevsky’s Notes from Underground, Crime and Punishment, and The Brothers Karamazov. It examines moral consciousness through recognition, responsibility, dignity, suffering, freedom, confession, and human becoming. The study argues that consciousness alone does not guarantee moral transformation and develops the concepts of anticipatory moral threshold, ethical residue, and unequal distributed responsibility through a sustained literary-philosophical reading of Dostoevsky.
